NSITF Embarks on Full Digital Transformation, Pilots E-Certificate Processing

Seun Faleye Advocates Digital Innovation on Labour Lens

The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) is taking bold steps to achieve 100% digital operations, marking a new era in its service delivery. Speaking during his appearance on LabourLens, a TVC production, the Managing Director of NSITF, Seun Faleye, outlined the agency’s strategic focus on leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accessibility for stakeholders.

Faleye revealed that NSITF has commenced the pilot phase of electronic certificate processing in Lagos and Abuja, with plans for a nationwide rollout in January 2025. “We are determined to move fully into the digital age,” Faleye said. “No matter the size of our staff, digitalization is the solution to ensure seamless operations and broaden accessibility for every Nigerian worker.”

The digital transformation includes a comprehensive upgrade to NSITF’s feedback mechanisms, with SMS alerts and dedicated social media platforms aimed at improving stakeholder engagement. “We are creating a transparent system where employers and employees can interact with us effortlessly and without barriers,” Faleye added.

This initiative is part of the agency’s larger repositioning efforts to establish itself as a leading social safety net provider. Faleyeassured stakeholders of consistent progress, emphasizing that the journey to full digitalization is already yielding tangible results.
