RETREAT FOR NEWLY ELECTED KADUNA STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CHAIRMEN AND VALIDATION OF KADIRS CORPORATE PLAN IN ABUJA!!!
The Executive Chairman, Dr. Zaid Abubakar, today, participated at the Kaduna State Government retreat for newly elected Local Government Council Executives with the theme: “TOGETHER;LET’S MAKE KADUNA GREATER”.
The Executive Chairman’s presentation covers the aspect of Local Government Taxes, Local Government revenue collection methods, the nitty-gritty of local Government tax harmonization and the role of Local Government Councils in tax administration in Kaduna State.
Further more, the Executive Chairman, Dr. Zaid Abubakar, entertained several questions from the newly elected Local Government Councils chairmen and responded accordingly.
Mean while, the Executive Chairman later,  participated to the end, at the validation session of the KADIRS Corporate Plan which is an exercise supported by PERL, UKaid and FCDO at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Abuja.
At the end of the session, the Executive Chairman Dr. Zaid Abubakar, on behalf of the Revenue Service, appreciated the effort, doggedness, resourcefulness, support and total cooperation of the State Reform Manager Alh. Sani Ashiru, the Knowledge Management and Communications Facilitator Mal.AbdulRahman B. Muhammad and the PERL ARC Consultant, Hajiya Aisha Mujaddadi for their engaging, diligence and results oriented session that leads to the establishment and validation of KADIRS Corporate Plan.
