Kaduna AGILE Engages Community Leaders

In its efforts for continuous community engagement, the Kaduna AGILE Project team recently met with local leaders from Badarawa, Malali, Kwaru, Unguwan Yero, and Unguwan Dosa in Kaduna North Local Government. The meeting brought together notable religious figures, including Chief Imam Sheikh Murtala Abdulkadir Shanono of Malali Lowcost, Chief Imam Muh’d Nuruddeen Muh’d Mujaheed of Badarawa, and Imam Ibrahim Abdullahi of Malali Village, alongside other important personalities from both Islam and Christianity. Also in attendance were Sarkin Kwaru Alhaji Ashiru Moh’d Wada, Sarkin Unguwan Dosa Alhaji Moh’d Waziri, and Sarkin Malali Alhaji Adamu Ibrahim.

The conversation centered on the impactful initiatives of the Kaduna AGILE Project, covering new school construction, infrastructure rehabilitation, life skills, digital skills training, and the Girls Scholarship Program. Project Coordinator Hajiya Maryam Sani Dangaji presented a project scorecard, detailing progress from 2022 to date.

Stakeholders actively participated, posing questions and offering valuable suggestions for the project. The collaborative spirit was evident as community leaders became integral contributors to the discussion.

Distinguished religious leaders added depth and insight, emphasizing a shared commitment to community betterment.

Expressing gratitude to all attendees, Hajiya Maryam Sani Dangaji pledged to continue engaging as the project unfolds. This meeting marks a significant step towards positive change in Kaduna. Stay tuned for updates as we work together to shape a brighter future for our communities.
