Engr. Femi Sanni, popularly known as Araba, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of elder statesman and Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

In a statement released from his media office, Araba described the late centenarian as a colossus whose life was defined by integrity, courage, service, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to the Nigerian project.
Araba noted that Pa Fasoranti’s passing comes just months after the nation celebrated his monumental 100th birthday.
He recalled the elder statesman’s legacy as a disciple of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, a pro-democracy activist who stood firm against military dictatorship, and a leader who championed the Yoruba ethos of Omoluabi.
According to Araba, Baba Fasoranti was one of the last of a generation of leaders who put principle above personal gain.
The APC chieftain extended his heartfelt condolences to the Fasoranti family, the people of Ondo State, the Federal Government of Nigeria and the entire Afenifere organization globally. He prayed that Almighty God grants them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
Araba stated that while Baba has left the stage, his legacy of truth, justice, sacrifice and service to humanity will continue to inspire generations to come. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
