Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has officially presented the staff of office to His Highness Isiaku Tagwai Sambo, marking his formal installation as the fifth Chief of Moro’a (Asholyio) Chiefdom.

The colorful coronation ceremony, which drew traditional rulers, government officials, and residents from across the state, was held in Manchok, the headquarters of the Asholyio (Moro’a) Chiefdom in Kaura Local Government Area.

His Highness Isiaku Tagwai Sambo succeeds his father, the revered late Agwam Tagwai Sambo (OFR), who led the chiefdom with distinction from 1966 until his passing on June 14, 2024—an almost six-decade reign that left a legacy of peace and unity.
In his remarks, Governor Uba Sani underscored the crucial role traditional institutions play in governance, particularly in maintaining peace, resolving conflicts, and driving community-based development.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to collaborating with traditional institutions across Kaduna State to ensure that political appointees and community leaders alike prioritize the well-being of all citizens.
