Troops conducting sustained operations in the North-East region have neutralised no fewer than 29 terrorists during coordinated offensives across Borno and Yobe States between Saturday and Sunday.

The successful engagements targeted insurgent strongholds and thwarted attempts by terrorists to infiltrate military positions. The operations were carried out in Lamusheri Village, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State, as well as at Limankara Forward Operating Base and Kukawa in Borno State.

The decisive actions underscore the increasing operational pressure being mounted on terrorist enclaves, logistics corridors, and command structures across the theatre of operations.

Local communities and the military high command have commended the troops for their bravery, resilience, and sustained offensive posture in the ongoing campaign to restore peace and stability in the North-East.
