A newly renovated four-block toilet and shower facility was commissioned on Monday, October 27, 2025, in Onikanga Village, Ilorin South, by Corps Member Adeyeye Adejare Joshua, popularly known as Ceejay, who served with Flow FM 92.7 as his Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).

The project, which was supported by Flow FM, aims to improve sanitation and end open defecation in the community. The commissioning was attended by officials from the NYSC Kwara State Secretariat, including the Zonal Inspector representing the State Coordinator, Mr. Onifade; Local Government Inspector, Mr. Oluwaseyi; CDS Supervisor, Mrs. Joseph Omolola; and community leaders such as Alhaji Abdurahman Uzman, Magaji of Onikanga, and Engineer Muritala Ibrahim, Chairman of the Onikanga Community.

Ceejay expressed appreciation to Flow FM for amplifying his vision and contributing significantly to the success of the project. He also thanked NYSC officials, community leaders, and residents for their support and collaboration.

Speaking on behalf of the NYSC State Coordinator, the Zonal Inspector commended the project as a model for community development and praised Flow FM for nurturing the young corps member’s creativity and civic-mindedness.

The event ended with a presentation of a Certificate of Commendation to Ceejay by the Onikanga community, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and group photographs to mark the successful completion of the project.
