A delegation of Kano State Taskforce on the Review of internally generated revenue constituted by the Executive Governor of Kano State Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf arrived the corporate Headquarters of Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service for a peer review and study tour.

The taskforce delegation was led by the Chairman of the committee, Professor Ibrahim M. Bande alongside members of the committee which includes Alh. Ali Ibrahim Kan-karofi, Dr. Usman Abubakar, Alh. Ibrahim Bawa and Secretary of the Task force Dr. Ismail Aliyu Dan-maraya.

In his welcome address, the Acting Executive Chairman Mr. Jerry Adams welcomed the delegation and promised to provide all the necessary Information needed by the Task force committee that will enhance revenue generation in Kano State based on the term of reference of the taskforce and the tax administration in Kaduna State is basically align with the SUSTAIN agenda of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Malam Uba Sani which focus more on rural infrastructure, Standard health care service, empowerment, Agriculture and Security.

Presentation is underway to the taskforce delegation by various Directors of different departments and Unit heads on aspect of modernization, strategies and models currently in operation in the tax administration in Kaduna State.

On hand to receive the Kano State delegation include the Executive Director Standard and Compliance Alh. Ali Garba Gora, Executive Director Revenue Operations Dr. Muhammad Lawal.

Also in attendance include Director Administration and Human Resources Alh. Mahmoud Waziri, Director Revenue Operations Hajiya Asma’u Inuwa Mora, Director MDAs, Alh. Ado Usman Garba, Director Area Revenue Coordination Mr. Ishaku Mazangona, Director Debt management Mr. Christopher Wayo, Alh. Abdulkadir Musa Director Tax Audit, Director, Direct Assessment Tax Alh. Ibrahim Galadima, and All Head of Units of the Service.
