I wish to sincerely appreciate, His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his timely and decisive intervention in the political crisis that recently rocked Rivers State.
My profound gratitude also goes to the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for his fatherly role in ensuring a peaceful resolution to the crisis.
To His Excellency, our amiable Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, I salute your courage, resilience and unwavering commitment to putting the interests of Rivers people first. Your bravery in the face of adversity has been a beacon of hope for all who yearn for good governance and accountable leadership.
I also commend the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly and his colleagues for rising to the occasion and giving peace a chance.
It is truly fulfilling to witness Rivers State back on track, unified and focused on the actualisation of our shared prosperity. The path ahead is one of development, progress and inclusive governance. As citizens and stakeholders, we must continue to uphold the values of peace, dialogue and collective responsibility.
