The Arewa Discussion Group (ADG) has congratulated Flow FM 92.7 Ilorin on the occasion of its first anniversary, describing the milestone as a remarkable achievement in the North’s growing media landscape.
In a statement issued on Saturday by its spokesperson, Dr. Garba Abari, the group commended the management, staff and audience of the station for what it called a year of credible programming, resilience and service to the public.

“The Arewa Discussion Group (ADG) extends its warmest congratulations and heartfelt felicitations to the management and staff of Flow FM 92.7, Ilorin, and its listenership on the momentous occasion of the first anniversary of the radio station on July 26, 2025,” the statement said.
ADG, chaired by Alhaji Maisudan Muhammed Bello, said Flow FM 92.7 has quickly established itself as an important platform for credible information, public discourse and community engagement, adding that the station has become a “vital voice in a challenging media environment.”
The group also stressed the importance of media organisations like Flow FM to its own mission of promoting dialogue, fostering unity and driving socio-economic development in Northern Nigeria.
“Your frequency has become a conduit, effectively reaching people across our diverse communities. By providing a platform for discussion, disseminating vital information and reflecting the aspirations and concerns of Northerners, Flow FM 92.7 is actively contributing to the socio-economic and cultural advancement of our region. This aligns perfectly with ADG’s mission,” the statement noted.
Looking ahead, the group pledged to deepen collaboration with the station to drive public interest programming and amplify conversations that matter to the North.
“As you celebrate this first anniversary, we urge you to continue to uphold the highest standards of journalism – accuracy, fairness, balance and a deep commitment to the public good. Your voice is vital, and your responsibility is great,” it added.
ADG concluded by wishing the station “greater heights and many more years of impactful broadcasting.”
