Araba Femi Sanni Mourns the Passing of Ilorin’s Chief Imam, Extends Condolences

Chairman of Flowfm 92.7, Araba Femi Sanni, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of the Chief Imam of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Ulama, His Eminence, Shaykh Muhammad Bashir Solih, OON.

In a formal statement, Sanni described receiving the news “with a heart full of reverence,” paying tribute to the late spiritual leader’s decades of service.

Shaykh Solih, who served as the Chief Imam of the Ilorin Emirate for years, was hailed as the community’s “spiritual compass, a voice of wisdom, and a pillar of unity.”

“His life was a testament to unwavering faith, peaceful leadership, and dedicated service,” Sanni stated. “His loss leaves a void that cannot be filled—a quiet strength has departed from our midst.”

On behalf of his family and the entire FlowFm family, Sanni extended his deepest condolences to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, the entire Solih family, and the Muslim community.

The statement concluded with a prayer, asking that the Almighty Allah “grants his gentle soul al-Jannah Firdaus” and provides fortitude to the bereaved.

Sanni expressed hope that the Imam’s legacy of “piety, scholarship, and peaceful coexistence” would continue to guide the community.
