Usman Shehu Bashir has been sentenced to death for the rape of Fatima Zakkariya.

The Appellant, Usman was convicted and sentenced to death by hanging for raping a 2 year 9 months old Fatima Zakkariya to death.

Usman had previously appealed the case at the Appellate court but this was dismissed and the judgement of the lower court affirmed.

Ministry of Justice Kaduna State secured this judgement in Appeal No. CA/K/215/2020 in the case of Usman Shehu Bashir Vs. the State.
